1-3
  • Philosophy (name of form belt meaning and # of moves)
  • Basic techniques of form
  • Around half of the form
  • DVD should have been viewed at least 5 times
1st
By week 3
4-6
  • Memorization of entire form
  • Beginning One Step/Sparring Segments
2nd

By week 6

*if stripe is not achieved by week 6 student will not likely be able to test

7-9
  • Entire form should be memorized by now
  • One Step/Sparring Segments
  • Self Defense technique
  • Board Breaks
3rd

By Week 8

4th

Gives permission to test. Confidence in material and a good attitude outside of Taekwondo (school and home) is required to achieve stripe.

*Black Belt Recommended and above must pass the Physical Fit test with a minimum Score of 300*
